Monica Suggs Baisden was in Cherokee Saturday for Super Saturday. She brought some luminaries her husband Sam made to sell. She also helped her mother Cyndi Suggs sell Hand Carved Candles from Fredericksburg.

Stacy Light was in town visiting her mom and dad, Nancy and Jerry Light. Nancy was in from Ozona where she teaches school.

Michelle McKneely Buffe and baby were in town for Super Saturday and to visit family.

Doug Suggs was in Chattanooga, Tenneessee visiting his mother, brother, sister and niece last weekend. They had a very good visit.

Ryan, Lacy and Payton Duggan were in Cherokee for Super Saturday and to visit with family. Lacy and Payton had been here all week.

Robert, Brissa and Gunner Baugh spent the weekend on the lake fishing and having fun.

Terry, Payten and Lory Vaughn went to Albany to visit Terry’s dad. Terry’s dad is very ill.

Gordon Calley and family, Ruth and T.J. Morris and family, and Gary Barber and Ty were in town for Super Saturday and History Day. They finished off the weekend doing some work at the family ranch at Spunky Hollow.

Jane and Wardell Randolph attended the funeral services of

Norma Kothman in Mason Tuesday. Jane wore a special leaf pin

that Norman had given her when she was a teenager.

Jean Renfro, spent the night with Jane and Wardell Friday night. Saturday at lunch they hosted 20 guest of the Birk descent’s. Jane says thanks to all who brought food and made the day a special day.

“Cherokee Scrappers” had a drawing on “Super Saturday in

Cherokee.” We have a winner- Beverly Newlin of San Saba.

We will have a meeting this Thursday, Oct 29th. We meet at the Cherokee Baptist Church in their annex. We meet at 6:30 p.m. We will have some “freebies” there at our meeting to grab up for your scrapbbook collection. Hope to

see you there!

Those enjoying a fish fry at the home of Michael and Lynda Randolph on Sunday were Richard and Jerry Randolph, Sue Rhoades, Jason, Regina and

Matthew Randolph, Rodney, Tracy, Kendall and Brady Johnson and Ross Ellis.
