HEBREWS 11:6 "But without faith it is impossible to please God."

This is a very small verse with few words; but it has a large, and vitally needed message, that can never be exhausted when correctly researched and used. No topic in your Bible is mentioned more often than faith; and God cannot be pleased when it is not seen. It may be impossible for any person to describe faith in a manner and detail that will satisfy another person's interpretation. If you have a sincere desire to please God, your personal faith should be of great concern to you, although you cannot even measure your own faith: only God can do that. It is important to know there is a vital truth about faith that is often overlooked and misunderstood by many. Every soul that is born has the same amount of faith at birth. That is documented in Romans 12:3 "For I say, through the faith given unto me, to think soberly, according as God has delt to every man, (the) measure of faith. It is clear, it is not (a) measure of faith, but (the) measure, meaning the same amount. Personal study, meditation, and exercise causes the faith of some to grow, while others ignore it and it withers, and sometimes even dies. If you have faith, Jesus promises more will be given to you in Luke 8:18 "Take heed therefore how you hear; for whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have." If Christians will periodically examine their faith to denote progress, it will not only please God, but will ensure growth and also prevent stagnation of same.

Yes, it is fact that we can not measure our own faith; but we can create a random list of descriptive Bible verses that will form a self examination to help us know how others observe our spiritual status and also help us in our best effort to please God.
