Mildred McIntosh, 80, of San Saba, passed away, Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at her residence in San Saba. Born December 13, 1927, in San Saba, the daughter of Bob Fulton Barker and Martha Starr Barker. On February 18, 1957, Mildred Barker and Billy Joe McIntosh were married in San Saba County, where they made their home. Before retirement, Mildred worked as the assistant Vice-President at the City National Bank in San Saba. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in San Saba.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Joe McIntosh of San Saba; one son, Jeffrey McIntosh and his wife, Leslie, of San Saba; one daughter, Adriane Shahan and her husband, Jimmie, of San Saba; five grandchildren: Megan, Tyler and Marshal McIntosh; Heather Martin and her husband, Ben; and John Brown II; two great-grandchildren, Ian Thomas and Violet Allyson Martin; one brother, Raymond Barker and his wife, Cory, of Austin; one sister, Barbara Worley of Mansfield, TX; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Nila Ruth Barker.

Graveside services were held Thursday, April 3, 2008 at the San Saba City Cemetery with Rev. Sam Crosby officiating.

The family requests that memorials be made to the San Saba City Cemetery Building Fund.

Funeral services were under the direction of the Howell-Doran Funeral Home in San Saba, TX.
