David Whatley will be the featured speaker at the Lunch & Learn on Wednesday, October 28th, 12 noon at the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. Whatley, who is the Manager of Parks Operations for LCRA will give an overview of the LCRA Parks System, the Colorado River Trail, and then discuss the newest addition to the system, our San Saba River Nature Park. The program, sponsored by the San Saba Co. Extension Education Clubs and the Family & Consumer Science Committee, is open to the public and free. A light complimentary lunch is served at the beginning of the program. A RSVP to the Extension Office at 372-5416 is strongly encouraged but not mandatory.
