Alma Exie (Bell) Waldie

Alma Exie (Bell) Waldie, age 95, of Georgetown, Texas and formerly of Springdale, Arkansas, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2009 at the Wesleyan at Scenic in Georgetown, Texas. She was born in Liberty Hill, Texas on January 21, 1914 to Isaac Gordon Bell and Ada (Anderson) Bell. Alma was a member of Crestview Baptist Church in Georgetown. She loved to crochet and do needlepoint.

Alma was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Richard Lambert Waldie and a sister, Ina McLendon.

Alma is survived by her son, Richard Waldie and his wife, Klela of San Saba, Texas; grandson, James Michael Waldie of Fayetteville, Arkansas; and granddaughter, Robin Doherty and her husband, Johnathan of Lowell, Arkansas.

The family received guests for a time of visitation at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas from 9 A.M. to 10 A.M. on Tuesday, October 20, 2009. Graveside services followed at 11:00 A.M. at the Liberty Hill Cemetery in Liberty Hill, Texas.
