San Saba High School's FCCLA off and running

This year the San Saba FCCLA is already off and running. This years class officers are Carrie Legette (1st period) and Savanah Rios (not pictured); Kayla Kutin and McKenzie Hibler (2nd Period); Alex Lopez and Rebekah Wright (4th Period); John Hartranft and Pete Torres (5th Period); Tyler McIntosh and Anthony Salinas (6th Period); Buddy Bush and Reid Casco (7th Period); and Maloree Ramos and Rubi Cervantes.

From the selected class officers, several are also serving as local officers. The local officers are President - Tyler McIntosh; Vice President - Anthony Salinas; Secretary - Maloree Ramos; Treasurer - Pete Torres; VP of Membership - Reid Casco; VP of

Technology - John Hartranft; VP of STAR Events - Rubi Cervantes; VP of Projects - Buddy Bush; and Historian is Rebekah Wright.

There are several projects already underway. Tyler Lackey, Laken Miller, and Pete Torres are putting together a major project along with several other STAR Event groups (Students Taking Action for Recognition- competition teams).

“All together there are nine competitive teams selected to compete this year. It should be an exciting year for FCCLA. Regional competition is in February, and we have lots to do before then!” said Mrs. Alesha Rogers, FCCLA Advisor.

Students are currently working on their fund-raiser to help build funds to support all the competitive teams as well as all the community projects they have committed to being a part of this year.
