Antique Car Tour to visit San Saba - Community News - San Saba News & Star

The 2009 Lone Star Loop 1000 – “Twisted Texas Two-Lane Tour” to be held October 15-18 is a four-day, 1000-mile scenic driving tour circuit of Texas featuring antique and classic vehicles.

The tour, which will avoid big cities and interstate highways, will start/finish in Weatherford and will make stops in San Saba, Fredericksburg, Cuero, Rockport, Kenedy, Marble Falls, and Hamilton with nightly dinners and informal car displays.

Sixty two cars, or more, will stop in San Saba around noon on Thursday, October 15th, and will park around the courthouse square. The San Saba County Volunteer EMS will cook lunch for them and the public.The tour will also be passing through town again on Sunday afternoon and will stop for fuel.
