Gage Reunion held October 10th

On Saturday October 10th, the descendants of Med and Myrtle Gage met for a family reunion at the Civic Center. Those present were Lowell and Chris Gage from Pearland,and their children Jackie Brady and her daughter Tyler from Rosenberg; Gayle Krejci and her daughters Tanya and Ashley and grand daughter Tanna from Matagorda; their son Brooks Gage and wife Kristal from Pearland; Dan Gage and his wife Teresa and children Mattie, Mason and Makayla from Sugar Land; Harold Gage and his son Bub Gage and wife Kathy from Brady, their children Gina and her husband Chad, and children Whitney and Garrett, daughter Michelle and her husband Pete and their daughter Releigh. Harold’s daughter Ginger and her husband Bryan and their son Tanner from Brady. Diane’s children Mona and her son Grayson from Brady, and Billie Jeffrey and wife Leslie from Austin. Pat Ribb and her son Fred from San Saba, her daughter Kathy from League City and Kathy’s daughter Brandi and husband Jake, their son Alan from Abilene and Kathy’s son Robbie and wife Stephanie and their children Rylie and Raegan from Joshua.

Also present were cousins Dorothy Smith, Shirley Hibler, Karen Parker and E.M House. And several from the class of 1954 who were also having their reunion in another section of the Civic Center.

The night before the reunion most of the family met at Pat Ribb’s house. Visitors besides family were Melor Whitley and wife Maxine and Merk Harris and wife Stella. Then after the party broke up at the Civic Center everyone came back to Pat’s house and had supper and made music. Lowell and Fred played guitars, Harold played the fiddle and Brooks played the bass guitar.
