JV Dillos Fall to Bangs

The JV Dillos lost a hard fought contest to the Bangs JV on Thursday night. The final score was San Saba 12 and Bangs 26.

The Dillos scored first on a Luke Cox 55 yard interception return for a touchdown. The extra point attempt failed. Bangs scored and made their conversion making the game 8 to 6 at halftime.

In the second half, the Dillos were able to score another touchdown on a ten yard run by Zack Davis. Again, the extra point try failed. The touchdown brought the Dillos to within a touchdown of the Dragons. Bangs scored a touchdown making the score 23 to 12. The Dragons final score came as time expired. They decided to kick a field goal to make the final score 26 to 12.

There were several players that had break out games. Luke Cox had an interception for a touchdown, Zack Davis ran the ball well and played good defensively, Sean Argote had an interception and several tackles, and Dusty Parum played well on the defensive line.
