The Jr. High won their game at Mullin last Thursday, 12-0. Baylor Jordan and Corbin Davis scored a touchdown each. Andy Dozier had an interception.

The Indians lost a wild game to the #15 ranked Mullin Bulldogs last Friday, 42-50.

The Student Council is sponsoring Student of the Week and Athlete of the Week. This week Talli Morrison and Tommy Henegar were named Students of the Week for Jr. High. Andy Dozier was named Jr. High Athlete of the Week. Lacey Kothmann was named High School Student of the Week. Tucker Corsi was named High School Athlete of the Week.

• Oct. 8th, the Jr. High plays Brookesmith here at 6:00 p.m.

The JV plays Richland Springs here at 7:30 p.m.

• Oct. 9th, the Indians open district play at Brookesmith at 7:30 p.m.

• Oct. 10th, the PeeWee football teams will be in Cherokee all day. Volunteers may still be needed for various parts of the day. Contact Victoria at 622-4641, Nicole at 622-4398, or Stacy at 622-4325 if you are interested in helping. Cherokee PeeWees play at 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

• Oct. 13th, school pictures will be taken.

• Oct. 12th-16th will be Homecoming week.
