The following was submitted by Devon Everett:
The big tackle team showed up this week! We entered the game with a mad on and the breaks did not go our way. We lost a major battle 20-6 to Brookesmith. Uriel broke loose on a 75 yard run and scored but it was called back on a penalty. Our defense held them because of big hits by Kellen, JD and Carter, Michael and Ethan. Lexi made a big block on a kickoff return and sprung Uriel and when he was fixing to get tackled he pitched the ball to Kellen and he made a 50 yard run for a td.
Over all we are out numbered and out gunned each week playing against 6th graders, but we learn something each week and get better. I am real proud of these kids.
