The Freemasons of San Saba Masonic Lodge No.612 will hold their stated meeting on Saturday evening, October 3rd. A meal of barbeque brisket will be provided by Junior Past Master Neal A. Watt. Supper will be served at 6:30 P.M. Members are asked to bring a complimentary covered dish, bread, salad, or dessert. Lodge will open at about 7:00 p.m.

The charter will be draped in the memory of the following deceased members; Bill H. Doran & Thomas G. McCarley.

Doran was born 24 December 1919, made an EA 6 November 1948, FC 5 May 1949 and MM 27 August 1949 in San Saba Lodge. He passed on 2 December 2005.

McCarley was born 5 May 1924, made an EA 11June 1949, FC 3 December 1949, and MM 7 January 1950 in the San Saba Lodge. He passed on 21 September 2009. The Lodge was officially notified of their deaths last week.

The Worshipful Master reminds all members to bring their community service reports for the month of September and turn into the secretary. Forms for Grand Lodge pre-registration will also be available. Grand Lodge will convene December 3rd through 5th 2009. There will be no stated meeting of San Saba Lodge in December due to Grand Lodge communication.
