The Simpson Creek Extension Education Club of San Saba County met at the lovely home of Vickie Stevenson on Wednesday, September 16, 2009. Members present were Janis Bull, Marcie Cooper, Bonnie Harkey, Patsy McConnell, Louise Oswald, Barbara Porter, Jeanne Sauer, Vickie Stevenson, and Martha Roe Terry. New officers for the term of 2009-2011 were elected as follows:

Marcie Cooper, President; Louise Oswald, Vice-President; Jeanne Sauer, Secretary-Treasurer; Barbara Porter, Reporter-Council Delegate.

Susie Nettleship presented an informative, educational and very interesting program on Pandemic Flu.

After the meeting adjourned all members enjoyed delicious and scrumptious desserts and snacks provided by hostess Vickie Stevenson.
