Harold W. Brand, age 67, passed away September 19, 2009. After a long and successful career as a Check Airman and Sr. Captain for Continental Airlines, he retired to his dream ranch in Rochelle, Texas where he met many special, lifelong friends. Harold was born on March 7, 1942 in Lamesa, Texas and was a resident of Conroe, Texas for many years before his retirement. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman with a great sense of humor and a kind, generous heart. He was a true cowboy and never left the house without his boots and hat on.

Harold is survived by his wife of 21 years, Gail Brand, of Rochelle, Texas; sons, Stephen W. Brand and his wife, Gayle; Kevin Boyd; Chris Boyd and Chad Boyd; grandson, Cannon A. Brand; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Harold is preceded in death by his father and mother, Eugene and Edith Brand; and sister, Donna Brand.

A memorial service honoring Harold will be held on Sunday, September 27th at 1:30 PM at the First Baptist Church of Richland Springs with Dr. Barry Fikes officiating. Preceding the service there will be a meal for family and friends starting at 12:15PM.
