A child has only one shot at an education. Parent support and involvement is crucial at both school and at home. Three-week notices are being sent home this week. Please read letters sent from school and contact your child’s teacher as necessary to ensure your child is successful. Kids need structure and guidance to be successful. Today’s students are our hope for the future. Let’s work together to make their future bright!

The Junior High and Junior Varsity football teams were rained out in their outings against Lometa last Thursday. The Varsity players enjoyed a 48-0 halftime victory over the Lometa Hornets. The cheerleaders and band did a great job! The Junior High will play at home against Brookesmith at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Junior Varsity is searching for a game this week. There will be a Junior High pep rally Thursday at 12:40, and the Varsity pep rally will be at 3:10 on Friday. The Varsity Coyotes will play Gordon at Longhorn Stadium on Friday at 7:30 p.m. Come out and support the cheerleaders, band and the student athletes at the games, you won’t be disappointed! Homecoming is scheduled for October 9th.
