The San Saba Ladies Golf Association met September 10, 2009 for play day with the Chair for September, Sandee Hartley, calling for a game of ‘Mutt & Jeff’, counting the par threes and the par fives less half your handicap. First Place was a tie between Sandee Hartley and Jo Anne Hardy. Sandee shot the Low Gross for the day and tied with Jo Anne for the Low Net. There was a tie for Second place between Jo Ann Snow and Debbie Lee. Hattie Rogers, Becky Hardin, and Dorothy Sterner rounded out the field of play. Sandee and Debbie both scored a birdie. Bobbie Churchill once again came to enjoy watching the play day. We hope it’s not long until Bobbie is back on the links!

Once again I hope if you haven’t been to the San Saba River Golf Course lately that you will take the time to make a tour of one of the most beautiful assets in our city, the San Saba River Golf Course! There have been many changes and additions. We have beautiful rock features and plants and new signs and of course, the addition of the fountain on Hole #18. It’s just a gorgeous place to be “swinging!”
