Descendants of Almond Baxter and I.D. (Dolphie) Baxter met in annual reunion at The Hostess House of Lampasas, Texas on Sunday, September 6 for a noon meal and fellowship.

The Iva Baxter Landers family members present were: Lewvon and Raymond Hicks, Bobby and Debbie Hicks and daughter Laura Beth Hicks; Orabeth Hicks, Jimmy & Mary Hicks with children Catherine Anne Hicks and John Brooks.

LaFayne Baxter and Bernice Porter family members present were: Ann Porter Wagner, Sherry & Bill McBryde, Harold and Angie Porter, David and Beth Parker and daughter Lee Ann Parker, Stacey and Jason Hendrick with daughter Allison Hendrick.

The S.A. and Kathy Baxter family was well-represented by: Randy and Donna Baxter, Laura Baxter Ellis and children Kameron and Laney Ellis; Dana Baxter Homeyer with her children Presli and Kinzie; Stephen and Sally Baxter, son Shane and Stephanie Baxter with their son Stetson; daughter Savannah and Ben Blackburn with daughter Bailey; Penny Wilson and daughters Keely and Bryli.

The late Virga Baxter Millican, daughter of Dolphie Baxter, had several family members present as well: daughters Gail Callahan and Jean Strouhal; grandson Paul Strouhal and wife Sharon, sons Brian and Sam; son Pat and wife Bonnie Millican.

Special guests of the Harold Porter family were Brad and Brittney Jones of Killeen, Texas, and Brock, Krysten, and Mason Zauderer of Santa Fe. Also, Becky Raines of Burleson, Texas, mother of Stephanie Baxter, was a special guest.

Everyone is reminded that the reunion is set for next year at the same time and place.
