Fellowship of Christian Women's Luncheon to be held September 24th
Thursday, September 17, 2009 • Posted September 17, 2009

Next Thursday, September 24th, Fellowship of Christian Women will gather in Richland Springs for a Sharing Harvest Recipes Luncheon treating our ladies in their 30’s.

If you have any harvest from summer gardens that would be wonderful, if not, please bring any covered dish to share around the serving tables. The luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. in the basement fellowship hall of the First Baptist Church, Richland Springs. A nursery will be available at this church if you contact Sharon Hayes in advance so arrangements can be made for the children. Please remember to bring food for them if you want them to eat during the luncheon.

Angela Bostick has agreed to come that day from Brownwood and share about the Good Samaritan Ministries. She serves the Lord as the director and is also a Baptist home missionary located in Brownwood.

The many different kinds of ministries at Good Samaritan are interdenominational and volunteers are from many Christian denominations. Angela plans to share stories from over the years and new opportunities that are developing, like the deer project, to feed hungry. Her husband taught school in Richland Springs at one time, but the family lives in Brownwood now.

Hope you will make your plans to come next Thursday to fellowship with the other ladies and then to hear one of God’s Servants and how she ministers in our area.
