John Kevin McCall, age 45 of Goldthwaite, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at Hamilton General Hospital of Hamilton.

Kevin was born on September 23, 1963 in Thibodeaux, LA. to K.W. "Shorty" McCall and Joyce Carpenter McCall.

Kevin and Sheri Wiedebusch were married on April 4, 1999 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Kevin was an off shore operator, and a Baptist by faith.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Sherry McCall of Goldthwaite; his children, Amber Gibbard of Beaumont, Tx.; and Jayce "J.T." Gibbard of Goldthwaite, Tx.; his brother, Bret and his wife, Annie McCall of Belton, Tx.; his sister, Paula Lewis of San Saba, Tx.; nephews, Blake and Bryce Lewis of San Saba, Tx.; Matthew McCall of Belton, Tx.; Gary and Travis Head of Goldthwaite, Tx.; his aunt, Sherry Williamson of San Saba, Tx.; his uncle, Jim and his wife, Leanne McCall of Crosby, Tx.; his stepmother, Vivian McCall of San Saba, Tx.; and several cousins.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Shorty McCall and Joyce McCall; his grandparents; and aunts and uncles.

Serving as pallbearers were: Ronnie Humphry, Heath Humphry, Duke Lindsey, Robbie Humphry, Tommy Adams, Dusty Norwood, John Reavis, and Marcus Riggs.

Visitation was held Thursday, September 10th. Funeral services were held on Friday, September 11, 2009 at the Stacy-Wilkins Chapel in Goldthwaite, Texas, with Dallas Houston officiating.

Interment followed at the San Saba City Cemetery.

Services were under the direction of Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home.
