The first cross country meet of the season will be Saturday, September 12, 2009. Events will begin at 8:30 a.m. in Mill Pond Park. The only entrance open will be the back one which is Mound Street. Friday, September 11, 2009, the track complex will be closed for the evening beginning about 5:00 p.m.

San Saba has started the year with very good numbers with girls and boys teams at the 7th grade level and Varsity. We also have 3 8th grade girls. Come out & support your San Saba Armadillos. Events should end around 11:00 a.m. If you would like to help, get there about 8:00 and find Coach Rundell.

At the posting of this article, we have 9 teams entered and the possibility of a few more. This will be the largest meet San Saba has hosted. Teams entered thus far are: Brookesmith, Comanche, Florence, Harper, Lohn, Lometa, Mason, Florence and San Saba.
