The Sharon Club met Tuesday evening, Sept. 1, at Parkview Baptist fellowship hall for the first meeting of the year with Zelda Campbell as hostess. Charlotte Holland, president, gave the blessing and roll call was answered with each member sharing her summer vacation..the longest vacation distance, was Barbara Riggs traveling in and around Alaska. Phlyis Silver led the club collect. Merlane Pool discussed the yearbook and plans for the coming year. Fourteen members were present and plans were made to meet in Lampasas Oct. 6 at the home of Gaylee Smith and Betty Miller.
