EZEKIEL 18: 31-32 "Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby you have transgressed: and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will you die? For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, sayeth the Lord God: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye."

Please note the scripture chosen to be a text for the message to follow. It does have a simple message that can be easily understood, but it contains a dynamic and vital need for all people of the world today. It displays a pattern of thought that clearly shows the feeling of God towards sinful people, that actually hurts Him. With Bible research, you can find hundreds of scriptures throughout your Bible in both the Old and New Testaments that reveals this same loving nature of God. His statement should capture our attention when He said, " I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth." He then invites repentance to make a new heart and spirit to prevent spiritual death. It is a reality; God is Almighty and there is nothing He does not know. Sinful pride causes some to hide transgressions from their fellow men. That is always wrong and it surely will not work with God. He knows every thought and intent of every heart and He pleads that we cast away our transgressions to make a new heart and spirit to live.

At this point I wish to show God is ALMIGHTY. But alas, no human mind can do that without direct help from the mighty Holy Spirit of God. Can any person explain to others how: "in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth and all that in them is?" That implies God had to be before the beginning to do it at the beginning. Can any person in this flesh and blood life understand and explain that? No. Yet because the Bible states it, we can believe it; but cannot explain it. There are many things about Almighty God that we can believe, but we do not have the ability to understand and explain to others. Should this mystify and worry us? No. There are facts that the human mind was never intended to understand in this temporary life. The planet earth is here and we are living in it. If we do not believe God created it: is there any other logical thought how it came to be? This becomes a subject that every individual should think about enough to have an opinion, and be able to place their faith and belief in it. Now to continue, it is necessary that I express my opinion on the subject. I do believe Almighty God did create the heavens and the earth. I do believe God was before the beginning and will be after the ending. The Bible clearly teaches He is eternal, and time has no power over Him. After more than 90 years of earthly living and earnest Bible study, I do sincerely believe God is ALMIGHTY and did create it all according to His pleasure; and simply spoke it into existence. But my intent in this effort is to show the unlimited Love and Mercy God gives to mankind that He also created. The Bible tells us that God looked at what He created and said, "it is good, it is very good." He was so proud of it, He wanted to share it, and that is the reason He created man and woman. God intended for them to be companions, and He has greatly blessed their earthly life. But if we look at the sinful living of today's people, we will realize it is greatly disappointing God. I also hope we realize God is Almighty and He does not have to overlook and permit this terrible sinful living to go unpunished. Unless there is repentance and more respect is shown to God, punishment will come. If Godly punishment does come, show some respect and love for God and do not permit any bitterness towards Him. He has a perfect right to punish today's sin.
