Thursday, September 3, 2009 • Posted September 3, 2009

On Thursday, September 3, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. there will be a community meeting and covered dish supper held outside the fire station at the picnic tables.

It is time to get things rolling for the next Super Saturday in Cherokee to be held on Saturday, October 24th.

Along with the Super Saturday Arts and Crafts Fair will be the second Cherokee History Day and Old-timers Reunion.

Much planning, a lot of work, cleaning and decorating will need to be done so our little town can be ready for all the visitors. We had many compliments from our out of town visitors and vendors from last year. We want them to continue to come and take part.

So mark your calendar for this Thursday, Sept. 3rd at 7:00 p.m. A Covered Dish Community Meeting at the fire hall. Please bring meat dishes, vegetables, salads and/or desserts. Drinks will be furnished.

Saturday, October 24th is The Super Saturday, Cherokee History Day and Old Timers Reunion.

Make plans to have a craft or food booth. Come to the meeting to sign up for a space or call Sue Broyles at 325-622-4242.
