The San Saba Ladies Golf Association met March 20, 2008 for play day with the following ladies present: Sandee Hartley, Jo Ann Snow, Nell McHorse, Bobbie Churchill, Becky Hardin, and Anita Miles.

The Chair for March, Nell McHorse, called for a game of odd holes less half your handicap. First Place went to Sandee, Second Place to Bobbie, and a tie for Third Place between Anita and Becky. Anita and Sandee had the Low Gross for the day and Sandee also scored the Low Net for the day.

The ladies have one more week to practice for the Senior Women’s Amateur Golf Association of Texas tournament in Salado, Texas. There are six ladies planning to attend: Jo Ann Snow, Bette Odom, Hattie Rogers, Bobbie Churchill, Sandee Hartley, and Anita Miles. This is a bi annual event that the ladies look forward to. It is played at different courses across Texas, with approximately 100 ladies participating. It is a two day tournament with several flights and awards for First and Second Low Gross and First and Second Low Net in each flight. We have had winners in the past and anticipate having winners this year.

In the mean time back at the ranch, we had better be “swinging!”
