Seeds From The Sower

While shopping in Japan, a tourist saw a gorgeous mirror. "It's beautiful," he exclaimed. "I must have it."

"But," said the merchant, "it wasn't made to see your face in it, but our god. Take it to the window. Let the sun shine on it."

The tourist did, and he saw the face of Buddha.

An artist had worked the face of his god in it, and the sunlight brought it out.

Have you worked the face of your God into your life so that others see Him when they see you?

This is what the Psalmist had in mind when he prayed, "Let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us."
