Rick and Wiliece Hoffman spent several days last week at their place. They were joined there by Shea, Dawn, & Charlotte Riordan of College Station. Berniece Kuykendall came from Llano to have lunch and spend Monday with them and enjoy her newest great granddaughter, Charlotte. Berniece is hoping she will see lots more of her as the Riordans recently relocated from York, PA to College Station where Dawn is an Emergency Room doctor at the College Station Medical Center.

Wiliece says it is a lot more fun playing with Charlotte than digging out cactus, prickly pear, and yucca and trying to stay out of the way of fire ants.

During spring break the Cherokee Home for Children staff and children went to the Heart of Texas Bible Camp in Brady. They had a pirate theme this year. It was a little scarry about 4:30 a.m. Tuesday when everyone had to go to a shelter because of the weather. Everyone had a great time.
