Sandra Gay Smith

Sandra Gay Smith, 64, of Spicewood, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2009 at her residence in Spicewood. She was born May 24, 1945 in San Saba, Texas, the daughter of Andrew James Reynolds and Bewla May Tomlinson Reynolds. Sandra Gay Reynolds and Logan D. Smith were married on July 4, 1962 in San Saba. She was a store manager and attended the Church of Christ.

Sandra is survived by her her son, Johnny Smith and his wife, Lillie of San Saba; her grandchildren, Jeanie Beaty of Cleburne; Cindy Wilson and her husband, Robert of Sallitto; Johnny George and his wife, Leslie of Emory; Billy Joe Petrea and his wife, Rose of Mineola; her brothers, Travis Reynolds and his wife, Madeleine of San Saba; Charles Reynolds and his wife, Mary Nell of Quanah; and several nieces and nephews.

Sandra is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one brother, Curtis Reynolds.

Services were held Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Howell-Doran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sam Crosby officiating. Interment followed at Algerita Cemetery with no graveside service.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Algerita Cemetery Association.
