Dilloettes attend Drill Team Camp

The San Saba High School 2009-2010 Dilloettes attended Drill Team Camp July 13th- 16th. The Camp was held by Danceline Productions at the San Saba Civic Center. The girls worked very hard learning (7) new routines, which they will be performing during the upcoming football season.

At the end of camp on Thursday, the Dilloettes performed their new routines for family and friends. Afterwards, awards were given out by the instructors.

Several of the girls were chosen for Danceline’s Elite Team based on their attitude, facial expressions and overall dance knowledge.

The girls chosen were: Caroline Jordan, Kaitlin Bode, Laken Miller, Jaena Edwards, Audrey Pierce, Johna Reavis, Bianca Zepeda, Paige Faught, Bianca Dawson, Katie Ross, and Kayla Kutin. Danceline Elite Members are invited to travel and perform with the Danceline Staff during the upcoming year at San Antonio, New York City, and Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

Other awards given were: Best Team Player, Heather Wilcox & McKenzie Hibler; Magnificent Memory, Natasha Hernandez; KIRRF Award, Paige Chambers; Outstanding Showmanship, Jenna Sloan; Hardest Worker, Alexa Maxcey; Awesome Attitude, Nikki Lindsey; and Most Outstanding Line Member, Jaena Edwards. All the girls did an outstanding job and are to be commended on their dedication.
