Community leaders donating books to local school children
Thursday, August 6, 2009 • Posted August 6, 2009

Many of our local 8 to 10 year olds will have a new favorite book very soon. The Way To Go, a beautifully illustrated volume expressive of moral values, is being made available in certain local schools as a gift to 8 to 10 year olds by local business leaders who are concerned about the future of our children.

A copy of the volume goes home with the child to become his or her very own. Printed in this book is a Parent Guide explaining the values covered in the book along with suggested topics for family discussions.

Without the support of local community leaders this program would not be possible.

The schools involved are: San Saba E/S, Richland Springs E/S, and Cherokee E/S.

The sponsors are: Burnham's Lodging, Arrowhead Bank, San Saba Equine Supply, Harry's, and McKinnerney and Associates.
