June Kirkpatrick, 73, of San Saba, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2009 in Giddings, TX. She was born September 9, 1935 in San Saba, Texas, the daughter of Riley Norman Terry and Jessie Dean Bennett. June Terry and Bill Kirkpatrick were married on October 6, 1956 at the First Baptist Church.

June's grandchildren were very important in her life. She was always available for any Church activity and enjoyed sewing and wood working, working in the yard and gardening and she loved animals. She was a sub in all grades in the public school system for over 25 years. She was a wonderful wife and mother and attended the First Baptist Church of San Saba.

June is survived by her husband, Bill Kirkpatrick of San Saba; her sons, Trey Kirkpatrick and his wife, Janet of Bryan; Terry D. Kirkpatrick and his wife, Candace of Franklin, TN; her daughters, Angie Saxton and her husband, Larry of San Saba; Pam Hawkins and her husband, John of The Woodlands; her brother, Charles Terry of Austin; her grandchildren, Kenton and Rebecca Kirkpatrick, Bethany, Priscilla and Samuel Kirkpatrick, Justin and Jordan Miller, Eric and Ryan Hawkins and two nieces.

June is preceded in death by her parents, and one sister-in-law, Martha Sims Terry.

Services were held Friday, July 31, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. First Baptist Church of San Saba with Rev. Sam Crosby officiating. Interment followed at Terry Cemetery.

The family received friends on Thursday, July 30th from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Howell-Doran Funeral Home Chapel.

The family requests that memorials be made to the First Baptist Church of San Saba.
