The San Saba Ladies Golf Association met July 23, 2009 for play day with Jo Anne Hardy, in the absence of the Chair for July Anita Miles, called for a game of ‘Best at Something’. You receive one point for being in the fair way, one point for getting on the green in regulation, and one point for a one putt. You must deduct one point for losing your ball, one point for being in a hazard, and one point for a three putt.

First Place went to Jo Ann Snow, Second Place to Dorothy Sterner, and Third Place to Jo Anne Hardy. Jo Anne Hardy had another great day on the links shooting the Low Gross and Low net for the day!

The big event of the day was when our newest player, Janet Hoytt, chipped in to win the chip in pot! Good for Janet! She also scored well on the game. Other players were Hattie Rogers, Sandee Hartley, and Becky Hardin.

We welcome all new lady golfers. We need you in our organization and we know you will enjoy the fun and fellowship. Just come on out on Thursday mornings. We tee off at 9:00 AM. It’s just great fun at our beautiful course and you know it’s fun to just be “swinging!”
