Eleven teams participated in the Midnite Madness Co-Ed Softball Tournament - School & Sports - San Saba News & Star

July 10th and 11th, San Saba Youth Baseball/Softball Association held their fundraiser co-ed softball tournament . There were a total of 11 teams from San Saba county and one of them from Coleman. The Midnite Madness Tournament started at 6 p.m. Friday night and lasted through 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon. Teams participating were: Not Us, NFL, Baseburners, Bras and Jockstraps, Justice League, Hammertime, Mad Dogs, Cyclones, Jalapenos, Long Balls and Bad News Bagleys. Third place went to Hammertime; second place went to MadDogs from Coleman; and the Champions were the Cyclones.

Everyone was exhausted, but had a great time. The money raised helped us buy 5 new sets of catcher's gear, new helmets and balls for next year!
