Robert and Sue Broyles spent the day in Gatesville Friday visiting with Will and Sarah Broyles and the twin great-grandchildren, Lily and Leslie. The twins are keeping mom and dad busy day and night.

The second Super Saturday in Cherokee is in the making. Mark your calendars for October 24, 2009 to come and enjoy the day in Cherokee visiting, eating and shopping the arts and crafts booths. Anyone interested in setting up a booth please get in touch with Sue Broyles.

Franklin and Sandra Crain, Darliene Boultinghouse & Kelly Shelton attended the Lusty reunion in San Saba Sunday. Great seeing all the family & getting a first hand report of a family member visiting the farm in England of the originating family. Beautiful country side.

Last week two youth groups from Fort Worth came to Cherokee Home for Children to do work on campus and to spend time with the children. Fun and fellowship (devos) took place in the afternoon and evenings.

This week a group from Lakeshore Drive Church of Christ is on the Cherokee Home for children campus. They will be working and having fun and fellowship with the children.

Shea and Autumn just returned from a two week vacation in California.

Debbie Duggar was treated to a birthday night out to Rockbox Theater in Fredericksburg.

Funeral services were held last week for LaVoyce Sellman. She was laid to rest in Rochelle.

We extend our sympathy to the Johnnie Johnson family at the passing of their grandaughter, Michelle Onstead Ing. Michelle had attended elementary school

in Cherokee. She was a very beautiful and sweet lady.
