John Steven Barta, 35, of San Saba, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2009 in Lampasas. John was born June 18, 1974 in Denver, Colorado, the son of Greggory Barta and Kitty DeForest Barta. He worked in the Dry Cleaning industry.

John is survived by his son, Tyke Strain of San Saba; his brother, Collin Barta and his wife, Alesha Cogan of San Saba and his sister, Dawn Miller of San Saba.

John is preceded in death by his parents.
