Jason Perkins, 37, of Berthoud, passed away on July 9, 2009 in San Saba, Texas after a long struggle with mental illness. Jason was a native of Houston, Texas. He moved to Colorado in 1985, attended Sunset Middle School and Niwot High School and graduated in 1990. He then attended Texas A&M University and Colorado State University, graduating from CSU in 1996.

Jason is survived by his parents, Gene and Ann Perkins; his brother, Jeff Perkins and his family; his sister, Martha Fontenot and her family; and his wife, Krista Hair.

A reception to remember Jason will be held at the home of his parents at 19125 County Road 5 in Berthoud on Saturday, July 18 from 2 to 6 PM.
