Last month was a busy one for the William Clark family. Kasandra Clark was married in New Mexico June 27th.

Kasandra is the daughter of Bobby and Kit Clark of Round Rock and Myra and Jerry Skinner of Dora, New Mexico. All of

the Clark family and Carrie Wayne Keeney was in attendance. After attending the wedding Jane Clark, Doug, Kristi, Jordan and Jaylee Messer of Lampasas and Carrie Wayne Keeney of Knippa drove to Crested Butte, Colorado. They were joined later by Jamie, Andrew and A. J. Houdyshell and Elsa Dean Shirley of Portales and Kenneth Shirley of Claude, Texas. They all enjoyed the 4th of July fire works there at Crested Butte before starting home Monday.

The Bill Price family enjoyed the company of Jerry and Neal Hensley from Denison and their three granddaughters, Alexis, Brittany and Elizabeth Pilkilton of McKinney last week from Thursday until Sunday. Friday night the girls enjoyed skating at the convention center in San Saba. Saturday the family explored more of the sights around San Saba and Bend. Saturday night a wiener roast was held on the banks of the Colorado River.

George and Toni Mayben had the pleasure of their son, Chris and daughter-in-law, Lehia and grandchildren, Madison and Joshua of San Angelo over the weekend.

Tammy Fullerton was in from Llano visiting her mother, LaNell Daniels this weekend.

Jane Clark reported that J.R. Collins was now in the V.A. nursing home in Temple.

Barbara Jones reported that her son Gary of Mesquite will be coming in this week for a short visit. Gary and his wife, Julia always work at the State Fair in Dallas and they will begin working getting things ready for the event. They always start a month before getting it ready. This is something that they have been doing for a number of years.

Bernice Porter recently spent some time at the Scott and White hospital in Temple, but happy to report he is at home and slowly getting better. He isn’t quite up to going back to playing dominoes with the group, but it shouldn’t be too long before his feet will be under the table.

Happy birthday wishes go out to Catherine Hicks who will celebrate a birthday July 17, to Brandon Preece and Bobbie Morris who will celebrate a birthday July 18, to Gene Brister and Lauren Brister who will celebrate a birthday July 19, to Vera Dee Harmon who will celebrate a birthday July 20, to Everett Houdyshell whose birthday is July 21 and to Jamie Garrett who will celebrate a birthday July 23.

Congratulations go out to Garrison and Brooke Stinnett who will be celebrating their anniversary July 21.
