Hamrick Family Reunion was held at Mill Pond Park Saturday, June 6th. The families enjoyed a picnic supper with 50 in attendance, visiting and taking pictures. The adults and children then went swimming in Pecan Pool.

Sunday, June 7th, the reunion was held at the Community Center at 705 East Storey St, in San Saba. The day was spent visiting and taking family pictures.

Bruce Moore barbecued the meat and also cooked new potatoes and beans. He was assisted by Randy Mask, J.B. Moore, James Moore, John Kirk Moore and Ricky Prescott.

The oldest person attending was Pete Hamrick of Belton,Texas. The youngest attending was Marissa Gilliss of Stephenville, Texas. The family traveling the farthest was Tabatha Chanley, Madison, Kimberly, and a family friend from Kenai, Alaska. There were 76 in attendance on Sunday.

The Hamrick Family Reunion will be held next year on June 5th and June 6th, 2009 in San Saba, Texas in the same place.
