Lewis and Pannell named to 2009 All-West Texas Baseball Team - School & Sports - San Saba News & Star

Senior Blake Lewis and Freshman Ryan Pannell were honored this past weekend by the San Angelo Standard Times by being named to the 2009 All-west Texas baseball team.

Blake Lewis, a senior pitcher/designated hitter, received this award for the second year in a row as he was instrumental in leading the Armadillo baseball team to the play-offs the last two years. Blake will be continuing his education and baseball career at McMurry University in Abilene next fall.

Ryan Pannell, a first baseman for the Armadillos was named All West Texas New Comer of the year after being named district 8-2A New Comer of the year.

Congratulations to these two young men.
