63rd Annual State Round Up at Texas A&M

Ron Gerhart, a San Saba Co. 4-H’er, was one of the participants at the 63rd annual state Round Up at Texas A&M last week. 4-H is an educational organization for third through twelfth graders Round Up is a state competition in which students ages 14 to 18 demonstrate their skills and knowledge in 39 different areas such as public speaking, decision making, leadership and community service. Gerhart participated in two different contests. He entered two photographs in the photography category. (animal color and architectural . He got blue ribbons on both of his entries. He also entered an educational presentation in the open category entitled “A Day in the Life of a Quail” based on what he learned at Bobwhite Brigade last year.
