The San Saba Ladies Golf Association met June 11, 2009 for play day with the Chair for June, Jo Anne Hardy, calling for a game of using the traveling 4-ball point system; one point for boggie, two points for par, three points for birdie, plus your handicap. First place went to Jo Ann Snow who also scored the Low Net for the day and second place to Jo Anne Hardy. Sandee Hartley scored the Low Gross for the day. Other players were Hattie Rogers and Dorothy Sterner. Pat Ribb came out for a few holes and fellowship.

Special guests were Dorothy’s daughter, Kay Barclay and grandson, Conner McNeel. Kay is a member of the Ladies Association and always plays in our tournaments with her mother, sister and sister-in-law. We call them the Sterner team. It is such a joy to see how they enjoy each other’s company and they also play a great round of golf!

June is good and golf is good so let’s keep on “swinging”!
