Kate Ingram, 76, of Copperas Cove, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at Brownwood Regional Hospital in Brownwood. She was born October 15, 1932, in Ramage, VA, the daughter of Albert Bell and Iva Lacey Bell. Kate Bell and James L. Ingram were married in Indianapolis, IN. Kate retired from the Copperas Cove Independent School District. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Copperas Cove.
Kate is survived by her three sons, Mike Ingram and his wife, Teresa of Copperas Cove; Danny Ingram and his wife, Wendy of San Saba; Mark Ingram and his wife, Denise of Kempner; her nine grandchildren: Michael, Jacob, Riley, Cole, Ethan, Abigail, Tyler, Samantha and Katy; her two great-grandchildren, Mackenzie and Logan; and one brother, Benny Bell of Houston.
Kate is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James L. Ingram; and two brothers, Jack Bell and Harold Bell.
Services were held Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 10:00 am at First Baptist Church of Copperas Cove with Dr. Mark Kemp officiating and Rev. Sam Crosby assisting. Interment followed at Copperas Cove City Cemetery.
The family received friends on Friday, June 5th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Copperas Cove.
The family requests that memorials be made to the San Saba First Baptist Church Fine Arts Fund.
