Thursday, June 11, 2009 • Posted June 11, 2009

On Wednesday, June 3, 2009 the members of the Richland Springs First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) CWF met for their monthly meeting in the fellowship hall of the church. Before we had our meal Mary Kate Adams read a devotional and prayer. We were served by Georganna Sonnenberg, Bobbie Adams, and Sue Williams.

At 6:45 pm Georganna called the meeting to order. Vicki Eden was asked to read the minutes of the May meeting and that was approved by all. Bobbie then gave the treasury’s report and that was also approved by all.

Old business: Georganna extended a thank you to everyone involved in making the Baccalaureate service a success. It was a very nice service that was well attended.

The work day we had at the church on Saturday, May 9 was really well attended and much was accomplished. Georganna extended thanks to all that was involved with that also.

We were reminded of the fellowship dinner we had planned for this upcoming Sunday, June 7.

New business: We will have one youth attending camp in July. CWF paid for part of that expense.

We discussed and planned an ice cream/hamburger social for July 19 at 6pm. Also discussed was the fellowship dinner we have planned for August 23.

We also discussed the upcoming neighborhood picnic in August. Our Central Area neighborhood includes us, Lampasas, Brady, Mason and Brownwood. More will be planned for that later.

Our next meeting will be July 1st . Scheduled to serve at the July meeting are Mary Kate, Winnie Shannon and Paula Shannon.

Attending this June meeting were Winnie Shannon, Amanda Sonnenberg, Mary Kate Adams, Martha Bush, Mikayla Eden, Georganna Sonnenberg, Paula Shannon, Bobbie Adams and Vicki Eden.
