The San Saba Armadillo Baseball team finished the season losing 2 games in the bi-district round against a good Grape Creek team.

The Dillos had a great season going to the playoffs for the second year in a row and we all should be proud of them.Thanks to the San Saba community for all of there support.

The district 8-2a All- District Baseball team has been announced and the Armadillos are well represented. Freshmen Ryan Pannell received new-comer of the year. Seniors Blake Lewis and George Long received 1st Team Pitcher. Senior Martin Vega received 1st. Team infielder and Senior Trey Tinney received 1st Team catcher. Making the 2nd Team all district list were Junior infielder Ryan Parksand Sophomore outfielder Miguel Flores.

Congratulations to these young men and all of the 2009 Dillo baseball players. I would also like to thank everyone for their support of Dillo athletics this past school year.

All current high school and 8th grade athletes will be receiving summer information this week,and will also be in the next week paper.

Thanks again. Have a good summer and be ready to support the Dillos in all our athletic endeavors this coming school year.
