On April 12, 2008, the San Saba Chamber of Commerce, along with the City and the County of San Saba, will sponsor "Keep San Saba Beautiful." This is in conjunction with "Keep Texas Beautiful." They hope to increase community awareness in litter prevention, solid waste management, and beautification.

Volunteers will be removing litter from city streets, alleyways, roadsides, and vacant lots. It would be greatly appreciated if you could help us with the physical labor or by furnishing sandwiches, cookies, or water for the clean-up crews.
