Acts 23:14 and 21 "And they came to the chief priests and elders, and said, we have bound ourselves under a great curse, that we will eat nothing until we have slain Paul. +But do not thou yield unto them: for there lie in wait for him of them more than forty men, which have bound themselves with an oath, that they will neither eat nor drink till they have killed him: and now are they ready, looking for a promise from thee."

This is just one of the many scriptures which reveals where the Jewish leaders determined to kill the great apostle Paul: even after they had seen many of the miracles Paul had done by the power of God's Holy Spirit. Do you have a clear understanding why they went into a fanatical rage and were willing to suffer suicidal hunger and thirst unless they could kill this great prophet and servant of God when he was only charged with preaching Christ for the forgiveness of sins? If you can understand and explain that, you will also understand why Jesus came unto His and His own received Him not, but they went into a fanatical rage that did not stop until they actually killed Jesus. It was the religious leaders of God's chosen people who did these terrible acts. Again do you understand why? If you do understand, you will also understand why the terrorists are willing to commit suicide and kill innocent people in our society today. In the past God's chosen people developed a false zeal that blinded them to God's true purpose for making a covenant for them to be a people He could manifest Himself unto, and then expect them to reveal God to other people. God kept His part of the covenant, but the Jews miserably failed. They became bloated with evil selfish pride and tried to monopolize God to serve their own desires. My friends, that is exactly what the terrorists are doing today. They embrace and fully accept the false teaching that if they can force all people to worship their false god Allah, it will gain heaven for them. The book they accept as a bible teaches they should kill all Christians and Jews wherever they are found. That finalizes to mean they should kill all persons who are not Muslims. That belief is the foundation of their faith and is exactly what is causing their blind fanatical actions.
