Ida Jeanne Kuykendall Bryden

Ida Jeanne Kuykendall Bryden, 90, of Fort Worth, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2009.

Jeanne was born in Cherokee on October 9, 1918 to William Scott Kuykendall and Pinkney Josephene Green. Jeanne graduated from San Saba High School. She moved to Fort Worth and went to work for the Naval Air Station in Grand Prairie. Later she went to work for Consolidated Vultee where she met and married the love of her life, Bob Bryden, on December 20, 1947 in San Saba.

She is survived by her husband Bob Bryden of Fort Worth; her stepson, Robert Bryden III of Arlington; and two nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Matthew (Dub) Kuykendall.

Services were held Saturday, May 16, 2009 at the Cherokee Church of Christ with Doug Suggs officiating. Interment followed at Kuykendall Cemetery in Cherokee.
