Fellowship Luncheon to be held one week early
Thursday, May 14, 2009 • Posted May 14, 2009

Thursday, May 21st, Fellowship of Christian Women will be gathering at the First Baptist Church fellowship hall in Cherokee. This is scheduled ONE WEEK EARLY to miss graduation and holiday activities.

This month’s luncheon features Spring Ladies Choice and treating ladies in their 50’s. So look for something special to prepare and share around the serving tables. If you would like a nursery available, please phone Sharon Hayes for arrangements to be made in advance.

Mrs. Scotty Oliver from Austin has agreed to come and share her testimony and a talk she has titled, “ Being Available to God’s Call on Your Life.” Scotty and Juanette Barker Oliver both grew up in San Saba and enjoy their “cabin living” sometimes during the week, as they are retired now. Their children and grandchildren enjoy coming to San Saba for special occasions and staying at the cabin.

Hope you will make your plans to be with us for Cherokee hospitality and look forward to hearing Juanette share from her heart and life.
