Casey Jones Hibler

Casey Jones Hibler, Jr, 64, of Spring Creek, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at Scott and White in Temple. Casey was born September 5, 1944 in Spring Creek, Texas, the son of Casey Jones Hibler, Sr. and Willie Bell Duey Hibler. On January 26, 1967 Casey Jones Hibler, Jr. and Frances Brown were married in Blaine, Tennessee. He worked as a Rancher. Casey was a member of the Spring Creek Church of Christ.

Casey is survived by his wife, Frances Hibler of Spring Creek; his son, Casey Hibler, III and his wife, Stephanie of Buda; his daughters, Sonya Ellis and her husband, Brad of Troy; Lisa Owen and her husband, Sam of Flower Mound; his grandchildren, Brittany Ellis; Carter Owen; Cohen Rhynn Owen; Kyla Hibler; Casey Jones Hibler, IV; his brothers, Dwayne Hibler and his wife, Laverne of Blaine, Tennessee; Dolan Hibler and his wife, Kathi of Hillsboro, Oregon; his sister, Maxine Robbins and her husband, Galen of Richland Springs; and several nieces and nephews.

Casey is preceded in death by his parents.

Services were held Saturday, May 2, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Spring Creek Church of Christ with Rev. Casey Clements officiating. Interment followed at Neal Cemetery in Spring Creek.

The family requests that memorials be made to the San Saba County Volunteer EMS or the San Saba County Volunteer Fire Department.
