The district tennis meet went well for the Cherokee tennis squad. Everyone worked really hard throughout the season.

In the JV boys division, freshman Ian Spence came away with the singles' championship with an impressive 8-0 win in the championship game. Freshman Desirae Bessent and Gabe Perry won 2nd place in the JV girls doubles division falling to a tough team in the championship game 8-4.

In the Varsity girls doubles division seniors Laura Preciado and Kayla Davis made it to the second day of playoffs and met up with a tough Santa Anna team. They lost 6-1 7-6 after a hard fought second set and tie breaker. They played in the 3rd place match and were defeated 6-4 6-2.
