Finally, the BCIS II class has finished raising money for the run through tunnel. All their hard work has paid off. They now have enough money for the tunnel and even some extra going towards a generator and accessories.
The project started with generous donations from various businesses and organizations. The elementary and middle school students helped by participating in a coin drive, and the teachers donated money to wear jeans for a week. The drill team and cheerleaders contributed their efforts by hosting a hamburger sale. They banked in $1900. With the support of Sonic, the football boys brought in the final money with the carhop. They raised a whopping $1632 that put a close on the fundraising.
None of this would be possible without the support of the community and willing parents. The class is thankful for everyone's support. The tunnel is now ordered and everything is set for next year.
